Introducing Waimakariri

Today in Waimakariri we made some slides to let people know a little bit about us. We are a class of Year 5,6,7 and 8 learners at Ōuruhia School in Ōtautahi (Christchurch) New Zealand. Check out our slides to get to know us.

We worked on the same slide deck to introduce ourselves. We each had our own slide, but some of us worked with a buddy.

We had to learn not to change the theme, because it would change the slides for all of us!  We also had to work on our own slides and not change others.

We had to think about which colours worked well together so it was easy to read.

Have a look at our slides.

Cycle Safety

Kia Ora!

Tamariki enjoyed our Cycle Safety unit at kura and Spencer Park. It was great to see individuals achieving their goals and growing in skills and confidence.

Ask your child, “What does DR ABC Q stands for?” and I’m sure they’ll be able to tell you! Way to go Waimakariri!
